i know i'm a bit cheeky but would appreciate a few messages of support for my lad who will be 9 on monday 1st march. i moved to hull 10 years ago and despite him being brought up here, he is aware of his dad's roots. living over here has meant that he hasn't recieved the brainwashing i would have given him had he been brought up in manchester. there was a time when he listened to the voices and claimed to be a rag. over the last year or two though he has seen the light and enjoyed a good few trips to see the blues. he had a five-a-side party today and looked the business in the white 3rd kit complete with ireland 7 on the back. his little brother backed him up in the all black. so forgive my indulgance while i shout with pride:
