A question about the Ipod Touch...

I just picked one up and I asked my niece to bring hers around so I can copy all her music on the touch to my computer.
She says "NO!" otherwise she will lose all her music on the touch. I think thats silly but she is adament that will happen.
So I look on the internet and find this program...

Does this program allow me to plug in her touch, copy her music and leave her songs still on the ipod?

Not really computer savvy so i apologise if its a dumb question.

as far as im aware you can sync your touch with her computer and itunes and you will both have the songs. equally she could put her music on a memory stick.

Don't know about the computer however she's right. If you want her songs you'll need to sync your iPod on her iTunes however when you plug your iPod into your iTunes it'll erased everything on your iPod to sync everything on your iTunes.

I downloaded the same program when my pc broke and lost all my files. I still had everything on my ipod so downloaded this. Managed to get everything back.

In answer to your question, nothing will happen to your niece's music, it'll stay on her ipod. There's a clue in the name of the program - COPYtrans ;)

Why would you want your nieces music collection on your iPod? Its more than likely full of the glee soundtrack and other various chav tastic tunes.

To answer your question, it was my daughters birthday, family were coming around, I knew she had one so i asked her to bring hers just so I can try it. Thats all.

Shes 15, not that little.
