Got this email yesterday at work... it made me chuckle

Hello Boy’s
I must admit I am missing our little football chat’s so I though I would put out to debate the RVP question.
It is widely reported that you lot are in pole position to sign the prolific Arsenal striker. Another headline was “United fans are getting extremely excited at the prospect of signing a marquee striker” Ho Ho Ho. Before I give you my thought process on where he will end up please read below my little sketch based on 2 families, one in Manchester the other in London. Its bedtime and both families are settling down ready for a good nights sleep.

London house

Husband: Darling I’m very excited in fact I’m that excited I’ve been wetting my pants!!
Wfe: You’ll have to wait half an hour the kids aren’t asleep yet
Husband: No I don’t mean that I’m excited at the thought of signing RVP.
Wife: Few that was a close one roll’s over and goes to sleep.

Manchester House

Wife: Do you think city will sign RVP?
Husband: Who gives a toss, get your trollies off.
Wife: You’ll have to wait half an hour the kids aren’t asleep yet.
Husband: Don’t worry about them they are watching a DVD of last season’s yoonited V City we wont hear a peep out of them.
Wife: Game on - 50 shades of grey and all that…
OK here is my analysis who will sign RVP? Lets take a look at both forward lines and see where the best fit would be.

· Bin Dipper (Wazzer) great for united garbage for England. 8/10
· Wellbeck average for club garbage for country. 6/10
· Chicharito Just reminds me of that 70’s iconic pop band Abba.
· Berbaflop. Not enough play time to score ( pun not intended)
· Owen. Quality striker at Liverpool. Would struggle to get in Scunthorpe United’s over 45 team.

· Aguaro. World class 10.
· Why always me. Potential world class. In true Keegan style I’ll tell you what you’d love it if you could sign him. 9
· Tevez. Scores every other game. Would love to stay at City. 9
· Decko. Stuggles to hold down a first team place would walk into younited side. 8

Conclusion

RVP will have gone through a similar sort of process before making a decision. It appears he will favour united as the thought of sitting on the bench is unthinkable. O wait a minute he said his major priority is silverware, dam it looks like it will be little old ceteh

It doesn't look like City are making enough effort to sign RVP , or at least Mancini doesn't appear to think so anyway , according to reports .......

i just don't get the feeling that he's about to become a City player .

I wouldn't be particularly fussed if he didn't join the only club in Manchester.

I acknowledge that he is a top player, but he's injury-prone, has had only one really good season; he played every game; imagine how many Kun would have scored if he'd played as many games as RvP.

And he had a terrible Euro 2012, the stage where he really should have shone.

I'd prefer us to buy a young up-and-coming forward, or even better, give Guidetti and Bunn a chance.
