Who would have said Delph would turn into the player he has become. At £8 mill he was seen as nothing more than a home grown squad filler.
There's no reason Pep might not have a specific role that he thinks Mooy could be brought in to fulfil for what he would cost.

He’s created the most chances (8) from set pieces at the Cup. I still think there’s not much in this but if people rated Gundogan as our pivot, at times, then I think Mooy would be levels above that.
