If we call it a £40m fee and a £5m signing bonus, which isn't out of the question for a player of his quality under contract, it's a wage of around £200k a week, which is what Arsenal were offering him.

^^ only deez. The guy is not even that good, he has never been anything but a squad player who yoyo's between playing and the bench... and the medical table. There are players on 50k a week (still a shocking amount of money) that do more than him. I don't blame Arsenal one bit or telling him to jog on.Vastly overrated player and Arsenal were absolutely right to not meet his 300k a week demands. Not sure what Juve are thinking but its worked out brilliantly for him though, fair play to him.
