I can remember Yaya getting a lot of abuse one day.
The guy near me (who I think was an amateur league coach) kept going on, "ffs Yaya", "Get in the game Yaya!" and so on.
Anyway, early in the 2nd half Yaya scored.
I said to the bloke, "Is he in the game now?!"
The bloke said, "It's took him 50 bleedin' minutes!"
No pleasing some folk...
 
To be fair, this has happened since the days of Ian Bowyer and Paul Power.
United fans did exactly the same to John Aston so let's not kid ourselves that weve got the monopoly on senseless abuse.

The object of the game is to score goals.
If a player can operate in the margins and suddenly explode into life when an opportunity presents itself, then yes, scoring a goal or two where necessary, excuses many 'sins'!
