I’m having to accept cookies every time the page changes or refreshes. Is there anything that can stop this?

If you’ve got any privacy browser stuff installed/turned on, you might have to turn them off to get the cookie saved, and then after that , if you turn it back
On, it might not nag you.

Thanks done that and cleared cache and it seems to have sorted the issue.
