Even if we get Sinclair he'll be a sub.
We'll see, I'm going to guess that Sinclair will have more ambition than just be a bench player here. If he signs we will have a younger, quicker, more ambitious player that can cross.

I wish AJ all the best at Sunderland, he seems like a nice lad, and he's given me a few moments of joy, but truth told, if he'd knuckled down here it could have been a lot more, but it seemed to me that once he was a regular in the Engerlund squad he thought he'd made it, which he had, as his 2 medals, and appearance in the CL will testify, none of which he will repeat at S'land, but all in all, he wasn't good or ambitious enough for where City want to be.

Swans signed someone called Ki today. Is he there to replace Sinclair?

Disappointed we've let Johnson go, he doesn't fit the system Mancini wants to play... but then neither will Sinclair, nor has he the ability and potential to get to Johnson's level imo.

£10mil seems cheap too, i can see him moving to another top 4 club in a few years...
£15m
Any confirmation on the price mate? He was always going so why are people shaking there heads, funny thing is I never saw him out on the piss, know a few bar staff that say they have but no pics no proof

Not as such they are totally different players, but he is their record buy.

When he's 30 and even slower and weaker than he is now?

He can already beat a man without electric pace, he's 25... i think he's a dangerous and effective player in the right system.
Cant recall him beating a man the whole of last season. Hes just to predictable, all he can do is cut in on the right ( which is quite effective against tiring defenders) but he doesn't have the pace to play on the left effectively.

Re: Adam Johnson

I'm a bit sad about it really but not sure why because he never really hit the heights for us.

Re: Adam Johnson

Re: Adam Johnson

Hope he becomes the player he is capable of being. Just hope he never scores against us.

also hope he doesn't mouth off over the next few days. Hopefully he has the sense to say the right things.

Fucking hell, he's wumming in stereo...

Re: Adam Johnson

We'll miss him as an impact sub. Unless he is replaced with a better player

We heard you the first time, idiot.

Re: Adam Johnson

Did we really only get £10m for Adam Johnson? And handed a chunk of it back to him in a lump sum? While Sunderland paid £14m for a relegated donkey like Fletcher? And Wolves also got £10m-plus for Jarvis? Only a year after Liverpool paid Sunderland £18m for a borderline championship standard player like Henderson?
Am I the only one who sees something wrong with this picture?
Who the hell is doing these deals? Weiss and Johnson gone for a combined £11.4m, less pay-offs.
Terrible, terrible business. Even fucking Wolves and Jez fucking Moxey are making us look like mugs.
Fuck me, some things never change at City. Buy high, sell low. It's in our DNA. From Malcolm's disastrous second coming to Clive Wilson, Trevor Francis, Anelka and Sturridge, we have always been a soft touch.
If we ever sold Vinnie, we would probably lose money on him. Jesus fucking wept.

I'd laugh if I thought you weren't serious. We've lost a player who frankly flattered to deceive almost every time he came on, and made £5-10m profit (depending on reports) yep buy high sell low.....
