I actually take exception to these sort of stories more than any, because city have a prestigous history and have had some of the finest players in the country walk out on the field.

To imply that it's mercenary to play for city is stupid and insulting. But then I see this was from The Scum, so I expect nothing less than total raw tripe.

Ironically, the biggest mercenaries we had were when we were skin. People like McMinimum, who drained our resources and gave half arsed performances are worse than the likes of Tevez, who will most likely give everything for the club.
