Don't bother with Size?'s much vaunted reissue of adidas Manchester this Saturday. The highly desirable and ultra-rare 2002 originals were all suede... the reissues appear to be made of nylon with suede heels and toes! I know adidas have to change it a bit to differentiate from the originals, but at a rumoured £70 a pop, you might be better off with a pair of SL72s instead.

I agree that they don't look as good as the og but I believe they are Suede and Canvas (not nylon).

Probably not going to buy a pair and carry them to the derby though ;-)

Good to see that Adidas recognise that the majority of Manchester is blue with a few bands of red ;-)

Itl ruin the Manchesters, reissues always lower the value of the trainers.

I doubt it'll stop adi collectors or quick buck ebayers queing from 4am on sat morning... the original manchesters had quality issues, with the suede fading in no time. looking forward to the birminghams in the 'cadbury' colourway...

Size? are tossers - to put it bluntly!!

Many times I've requested an email to tell me when they receive their re-issues and they never send me one!!

By the way if the Manchester re-issues really are that poor quality then I'm glad I "wasted" my money on ANOTHER pair of Spezials last weekend!!!

Scandalous that is. I think I'll go for a pair of superstars next time instead.
