advice needed for pop ups on this site pls

I've had to give up using bluemoon on my home computer because everytime I go into a new thread or any subsequent page this annoying pop up takes up a quater of the screen titled 'premier league' news and starts dribbling on about news that is ancient.... I know I can pause the sound but it is a total pain in the arse and slows the whole thing down...

I've tried a pop up killer but it hasn't done anything...

I do click on the adverts occassionaly as I previously read on here that this pays for the site (even though I have one constantly which says 'Live United' !!)

Anyone know how to get rid of it???

really is that all??? I'm not at home now and am using the PC in the office which doesn't have the same problem...thanks will give it a go...
