Advice needed regarding Indian food

On my morning bike ride today, I noticed a new curry house opened in the neighborhood. While looking at the menu posted in the window, I peered inside and saw a framed City jersey hanging on the wall. As they were not yet opened I said to myself I will come back to patronize this establishment. My dilemma is such; being an American I don't know what 2/3 of the menu was or represented. Somebody educate this hungry Philadelphian. Thanks for any replies.

go on the recommendation of the owners choices, also like all Indian dishes depends of how hot you like it, but forget being big headed and go for the hottest because a wrong choice can make grown men cry even in a man city shirt

The great thing about a Indian food is (nearly said buffalo steaks) that nobody knows to start off with so you try anything - if you go to a good one it is all nice and they will give you advice on how spicy things are.
