Aeroplanes of the Second World War

My dad used to be a welder for Avro,s,till they were bombed ,transferred to Yeadon ,Leeds where they worked underground, producing planes. Now the Leeds /Bradford airport. If my grandmother had not taken ill causing the family to move back to Longsight.I would proberly be a Leeds Utd scumbag, moaning over a defeat to WBA at the weekend.
I went to the Avro Heritage Museum in Woodford just before Christmas and had a "tour" of the inside of a restored Lancaster. Fascinating stuff.
