Morocco are the tournament favourites, players at top teams across Europe. Comoros also have a lot of their squad based in Europe but at lower league sides. Nearly half the squad based in France.

A bit confusing as Channel 4 has the rights but they are showing many of the matches on their range if stations, not Channel 4 itself.

Morocco/ Comoros is on today on E4.

Tomorrow has these matches on 4 Seven.

South Africa/ Angola
Egypt/ Zimbabwe.

In this World Cup season, there are players like Hakimi who play for top European teams and played their domestic and CL season, played in the Club World Cup last Summer, this ACoN and the upcoming WC, who could play as many as 80 games of football in a year.

But not in the biggest year it has needed to have been with the CWC and WC within 12 months of each other and those players involved in all of them.

It’ll be interesting to see the injury records of any African players like Hakimi over the next couple of years like we saw with Spain’s players over the last few years.
