After today's performances what would your team be VS Spurs?

Hart

Richards
Lescott
Kompany
Clichy

Milner
Nigel(if not yaya playing more defensive)
Barry

Silva
Tevez
Dzeko

Not sure if we should throw Kun in. He's only played 90 mins of prem football this season and spurs away really would be throwing him in the deep end.

Pantillimon, Richards, Savic, Kolarov, Milner, Balotelli, Johnson

Zab and Clichy because they are the most solid defensively and we need that against Bale and Lennon

Milner and Johnson as super subs, Balo if Dzeko's getting no joy.

Richards is quicker and stronger than Zab. His positional play isnt as good. But I cant think of many wingers that have given Richards a torrid time. In a match up with Bale, I think Richards' sheer physicality would be a big factor.

Otherwise I think the big decision is whether we start with Milner or Aguero. Tough call.

I just cant understand why people are even contemplating leaving Yaya out. He wasnt as noticeable yesterday because he didnt make any surging runs but I thought he had a good tidy game in a deeper role. One of the first names on the teamsheet for me.

Yea drop Yaya like that would be a good move :(

Leave de Jong out then?

Big risk away at Spurs.

No De Jong just goes back in for Milner :)

Milner was awesome yesterday and Yaya wont be allowed to play the role he is good at against Spurs so might as well drop him for the game when Milner is quite obviously in much better form than him. Or are we going all Sven and just playing the big names regardless of form

That's extremely harsh on Milner.

If we are going to go 3 of either De Jong/Barry/Yaya/Milner for this game Milner or Barry are the ones who should sit out.

Why - in order of howcwell they have played this season it has gone:

Barry
Milner
Yaya
NDJ

Hart

Richards
Kompany
Lescott
Clichy

NDJ/Milner
Yaya
Barry

Aguero
Dzeko
Silva

I don't see much reason to change the team , I think clichy needs to come in so he can keep up with Lennon on the right . Milner deserves to keep his place but when Mancini's three preferred mifielders are fit , I doubt him starting. Overall I would be happy with the team put out yesterday , but as long as David Silva is fit and playing , I can't stop smiling

We know what Spurs strengths are : Pace down the flanks, Crouch's height and the creativity of Modic and Van der vaart.

So we'll need Clichy and Richard to play along with our usual centre backs.

In midfield, this is the tricky one, I would play Yaya, Nigel and Milner. As well as GB played yesterday I do worry about his lack of pace and him giving away free kicks.

Then up front, I'd play Dzeko for form and ability to hold up the ball, Silva because he is Silva and Balotelli because Aguero and Tevez are not sharp enough to start such a big game yet, bring them on from the bench later on though. Just an opinion though.

this

but I can't believe no one is giving any thought about giving richards another go at center with vinnie, then bringing in zabba at right back. Davies out jumped lescott yesterday for the second goal and if redknapp plays crouch (which he normally does against us) you can bet your bottom dollar he'll put himself on lescott. Richards is one of the best in the air in prem in my opinion and should be given another chance at centre, think vinnie would bring him back to how good he used to be at centre.

Dzeko

is what Bobby will play.

I'd drop Dzeko and play Aguero.

Much more of a defensive line up but it is Spurs away. The great thing is about this side is that if we go behind or are drawing after 60 we can bring on Tevez, Aguero, Johnson.

I think this team can still create chances as we have Silva and Yaya will be back in his more attacking role which is where he seems to perform best.

This line up relies heavily on Dzeko but the way he's perfomed in the last two games shows that he's definitely good enough to do it.

Hart

Kolarov
Lescott
Kompany
Richards

De Jong
Milner

Silva

Aguero
Dzeko
Tevez

Subs: Pantilimon Clichy Savic Zabaleta Toure Johnson Balotelli

I'd bring on Balotelli and Johnson later on.

My team would be (assuming Nasri signs):

----------------Hart---------------

Richards--Kompany--Lescott--Clichy

----------De Jong---Barry----------

--Nasri---------Yaya--------Silva--

---------------Dzeko---------------

If Nasri doesn't sign then it would be Aguero in for Nasri. (Don't think Aguero is fully up to speed so he could struggle against Spurs, especially at their place). Though it wouldn't surprise me if Mancini played Milner in Nasri's place.

I hear a lot of people saying Aguero and Tevez are not fully fit yet.

Ok - play them one half each, then, and keep Edin in there for good 70-80 mins and then sub AJ in for him then.

So, up front (for me)

1st half:

--------Silva-----------

Aguero----------Dzeko

2nd half:

-------Silva----------

Tevez-------Dzeko-----

Then about 75th minute

AJ------------Silva----

-------Tevez-------

Of course one little thing called scoreline will dictate all that. But that's what I'd like to see anyway.
