Do you think there is any real difference in graphics/fps?

I know the 360 is better online but the PS3 is free.

Selling my old PS3 and when I buy another I dunno whether to get 360 or PS3 again...

I own both and to my eye i cant see any difference in graphics apart from PS3 exclusives which seem a little bit better.

What i prefer about the XBOX though is if i'm playing FIFA my TV stays at 1080p and although it may be upscaled it looks and feels better than when the PS3 forces the tv back down to 720p.

Overall, i prefer the XBOX cause i have endless issues with PS3 online for some reason.

360 man myself and always will be.

Greater choice of games and developers get the most out of the console. PS3 is supposed to be a better bit of kit graphics wise but developers still dont program their games to get the most out of it and opt for the option of utilising the xbox most of the times, PS3 titles only aside.

F1 2011 released last Friday has PS3 owners going fucking berserk about the state of the graphics with many claiming its no better than a PS2 standard title. It looks the dogs on my xbox :-).

£80 gets you a blu-ray player these days anyway if you really need one.

I have been swaying back towards the 360 (I had one before my PS3) mainly due to problems getting online!

What's the difference between the 250GB and the 4GB consoles, apart from the obvious?

If you have sky and hook the xbox up to a pc etc then the 250GB is the one to go for mate as you can store movies, music etc on there. of course having that space allows you to load games onto the hard drive as well which in some instances gives better load times.

I have the 250GB and if you can afford it mate go for it.

No longer have Sky we have Virgin installed now.

Think I'll get the 250GB anyway just to be future proof.

Dixons online selling for £180 seems about the best price at the moment mate.

I prefer the PS3 - I've found that I use it more as a media server now than actually playing games. Playback of Divx & Xvid is a huge tick in the box for me - the only thing that would make it perfect would be the integrated Sky player that the Xbox has.

Being able to update and store Pro Evo data (which is pretty much the only game that I play) is also another massive plus.

I think you need to compare them subjectively rather than objectively and weigh up what's best for your needs rather than everybody elses.

Got them both.
Xbox seems like a console for kids under 18, everything is very childish and cartoony (if thats a word)

Being over 18 I find the PS3 to be far better in every way possible.

If you're buying a ps3 I suggest you buy the cheapest one available which was the 40GB when I got mine then pay around £40 for a 250GB hard drive, its extremely easy to change, 1 screw and it will save you a lot of money.
