quality player inside italy.. cant do it on the world stage, only with teammates he's built a rep with. much better than both bianchi and corradi... in his prime he was a cross between anelka and crouch, but much better than they have ever been.. even anelka now... toni was top scorer for europe a few seasons ago, 2nd in the world and equaled an italian record of 50 years... but its not him lol
 
If people are hoping city sign diego then they should hope he isn't the player silkman is on about because he said he has approached city but the club don't seem interested in him.
This thread shouldn't be about an anonymous player city might be signing but an anonymous player city aren't signing.
Which actually considering we have been linked with every player in the world it's probably more insightful to know who we aren't signing than who we are!!!!
 
I'll stick my neck out and put a new name forward.

Edin Dzeko
A real talented bosnian player who was widely regarded as the most promising player from Bosnia at the age of 21. He currently plays for VFL Wolfsburg and has got 12 apperances and 5 goal for the German side this season. Edin is also a member of the Bosnian national side and his performances have been nothing but magical in the past Euro qualifiers. He has also been keeping Bundesliga sensation Vedad Ibisevic out of the national team, and is regarded as the better player in his homeland.

He's 23, and fits the bill perfectly. I very much doubt a scroat like Silkman would have Diego on his books.
 
Seen Diego play a few times and i think he offers us nothing different from Elano, only City would think about offloading a player of Elanos quality.
