Please no, i couldnt see him play for another premier league team

Clearly a briefing has gone out to the usual trusted city journos tonight from aguero’s camp stating he would want to join another prem team if we let him go. Not sure this is gonna sit well with pep and the board I think Fernandino has it right when he said now is not the time to talk about his contract situation wants to concentrate on winning games etc. Whereas aguero has tried to put pressure on us.

Real tough one for the club if Haaland is available I just can’t see a way we keep Aguero
It won't go down well at all. Every player at the club has been told that no contract renewals will be talked about until the end of the season - no distractions as we go for glory.

That's why Stones hasn't been given one yet, despite having a deal that expires next summer. Sterling, De Bruyne and Jesus are all in line for new deals this summer too, and Foden will probably be given a bumper new deal.

I'm sure the club were hoping that our two longest serving players would respect that stance despite being out of contract this summer. Ferna a class act as always.

Touting yourself to domestic rivals in the papers after saying for years you would never play for a rival is disappointing from Serge IMHO.

I hesitate to say it but at the moment, Aguero and Sterling are surplus to requirements as far as the 1st Eleven is concerned.
I want Sergio to stay because he has been such an integral part of the club for 8/9 years, but, our playing style has evolved; his fitness has declined, and during his unavailability, we have had great success, results-wise.
He and Sterling - like everyone else - have to show that they can contribute and continue with this fantastically successful run. So, getting back to the issue, if he is to get a new contract, like everyone else, he has to be worthy of it going forward. He can't rest on his laurels, no matter how much we love him.
(Sterling has been ahead of him for the last 18 months, but, his recent dip in form has been alarming and his future is looking uncertain at the moment. Aguero is behind Sterling in the pecking order. Thing is, a few months back, many of us would have said the same about Cancelo, Rodri, Gundogan and Mahrez - things can change very quickly if you can get on a decent run of form.)
All imho, of course.

Tricky situation as Aguero seems to struggle in keeping fit for large parts of the season and at the minute a reduced deal seems the most logica loption, especially when looking to bring in a expensive replacement. However he is still a club legend and when fit he is still a key player

Probably wont be a popular opinion but for me you keep kun as backup to haaland(especially as in 1-2 years or so when kun is finished delap will be coming of age proper), you shift raz, and you move gabby to LW/LF.

Raz, after showing some good stuff for a couple of seasons, has declined criminally...if his mentality is so weak where he lives and die's on confidence alone(as some suggest), then for a club of our stature its not good enough anymore. We dont need garden gnomes in the team...lacking form shouldn't mean doing nothing on the pitch. Especially when you are picking up a fortune in wages.

Haaland will want lots of play time, aguero always gets injured and gabby is decent backup if the worse happens. It just makes sense.

The club have said that it's up to Sergio when he leaves so my guess is that this is just his camp trying to see what interest is out there so he can assess his options. He's probably feeling that if he does stay his minutes on the pitch might be quite limited and his contract could be drastically lowered especially if we did bring in someone new in the summer.
