Aguero injured

How was it not spotted originally?
Well according to my physio daughter the damage wouldn't be seen and then treated without keyhole surgery, and they wouldn't use the keyhole surgery unless the knee hasn't healed on it's own. The Young challenge wouldn't have helped but the damage could have been there since he first felt it.

Somebody alluded to the solution in an earlier post (apologies for not checking back and crediting) but these occasions is where you need that EDS striker to step up to the plate. we have quite comfortably coped with that popular modernism; 'a false 9', and with one fully fit main man and an EDS player we should have enough options. How else do our future stars earn their stripes?

This situation is a great time for the EDS players. Nmecha could get a sub appearance or Brahim could play RW and Sterling false 9, but it's situations like last Tuesday where we need another player who can cover striker at the top level.

Ref booked Davies so no review.
He could well have done so from help from one of his other officials though.

Just because he booked him doesn't mean he saw it properly. There have been plenty of occasions after a game when a referee has said he didn't see it fully at the time.
