i was wondering if the police here are GMP, i know at one time the police from the visiting club area used to attend in small numbers,,dosnt rally matter anyway the simple logical remedey for things like this are to give the celebrations a few seconds then get the overspill back into the stands, no arrests required, in these days we have people straping up with explosives and driving cars into crowds and you would have thought with the police they would like to keep relations with the general public at a high as we all work and connect with each other at times like this, their only pissing in their own yard with this overzealous policing and its time for them to take a lowere profile at games insted of winding fans up

But we are football fans not the general public. Laws against football fans are mote draconian than against anyone including terror suspect.. a hangover from thatchers war on football. And the general public and politicians don't give a shit.

Only football fans can be banned from matches without trials for numerous things including being photographer with someone who may potentially be a trouble maker .

We are treated like shite - only we care

According to someone on FB at least one of the policemen recording the celebrations was from GMP and is usually in the SS. I know that when I have been at away games I have seen GMP personnel.
