even his latest plaudits don’t do him enough justice. He’s the best forward the league has ever seen. Just think how great his stats would be if he wasn’t injured so much in the past!

His other contirbution in that game was to lob the keeper, run onto it and flick the ball backwards from the byline for Silva to tap in.

I think it was our fourth but his second. He only got 2 in that game.

I was watching from 110 which was where my season ticket was at the time. I looked at the 2 lads next to me and just said FUCK. What a strike for his second goal, I knew we had a goal scorers and a player.

The moment that stood out for me at the time was his amazing tenacity in setting up the Silva goal. When he tipped it over the keeper I was convinced it was going out of play, but he somehow for there and flicked it back for the assist. In that moment, he looked a class above what we had.
