The most pompous yet dull broadcaster in football - makes it sound like the politics show with his address to the nation read out loud delivery.

Tyler for me - redeemed himself in those 20 seconds - pure passion.

Anyway, Tyler's commentary wins it for me ........

Sam Matterface that was mate. All the commentator's absolutely loved it. For shear hilarity, Merson nailed it! 'I've never seen anyfin like it good or baaaad! They're all cuddling, there's love bites and everyfink!!', with Messrs Thompson, Nicholas and Le Tisser going equally as bonkers.

They all hate us though so it must have been some damn fine acting!

Actually, by their standards I thought R5 was rather poor. They missed the build up to the goal totally so when Ingham spoke, it came as a surprise rather than a running commentary on a shrewd passing move where Mario was pivotal. It didn't help either that 'expert summariser' was Danny Mills - what did we ever do to him except pay him a fortune for under-achieving?

My favourite English commentary is Ian Darke's for ESPN just for the line 'the team that wouldn't die'.

My favourite of all is the Arabic one!
