Aguero's successor?

We do lump it to hobbits maybe not from the half way line, but when the lads have passed the ball from here to there and back again, in comes a slow sodding cross for 6' 2" centre halves to clear.
I obviously miss a lot.
Hope we get things sorted for the champs league and the cups and if the dippers do fuck up, hope we're in a position to take an advantage.

Hopefully Jesus is Aguero's successor - he's not quite lived up to the challenge yet... still, he might.
Go to Wiki and look at Gabe's accomplishments, he's Brazil's starter, won loads of cups and experience, goal to minutes and game ratio is great.
All up to age 23. He has accomplished more than probably %96 of all footballers have by that age, but understandably not getting PL minutes behind Sergio which he has not complained about one bit.
He is now just the age that Aguero was when he joined us, and yet we are going to judge young Jesus on a crocked side against Sergio's record when he was playing through his prime years on sides that were free of injuries the extent of where our team is now.
We will be very fortunate if this brilliant star decides to stay here.

Don't forget he's also the youngest player in Champions League history to score multiple hatricks ..... He's going to be the best in the world, so underrated, even by some City fans......!

Personally when the time comes to replace Sergio, ideally I would like a striker with more of an aerial threat. The number of free kicks and corners we waste with no goal threat is incredible.
From open play Jesus has been wonderful at headed goals recently. The last two years have seen him score 9 or 10 beauties. Set pcs. and corners are a different animal as we don't have tall accomplished full backs to bring forward any more, sadly Stonesy has lost something, and one of our tallest mids is Kev who takes all the corners eliminating one of our best threats to score! I have always maintained him taking corners is a waste as any footballer 13 yrs or older should be able to drop one on the spot in the danger zone out of the keepers reach, and yet how many corners don't make it over the first defender? Yes the total amount of chances missed is a lot, but when you break it down not the strikers fault.
