We are in Corfu at the moment and will have to cut our holiday short due to Mrs Underpants being ill, we flew out with Jet2 and we cannot get back with them so we have booked on Thomas Cook.
Jet2 allow you22kg of baggage in the hold and 10kg hand luggage, Thomas Cook allow you 15kg hold and 5kg hand luggage WTF!
Seeing as though we should have been here a month and the Mrs being a typical woman she has brought her wardrobe and every electrical device known to man so we are going to struggle with the Thomas Cook allowances, why are there such variations between airlines, we decided fuck it why worry just pay for the extra at check in, i am pissed off though

Might be cheaper to buy a big Parka and stuff the pockets with the heavy items, although you may look a bit of a twat when you rock up at Corfu airport in it.

Have you seen the cost of a divorce recently?
Be cheaper to buy your own plane.

Different airlines offer different baggage allowances as they have differing seat layouts on their planes and as such different amounts of passengers oh, and it costs more to fly a plane full of people and large baggage than it does to fly a plane with a smaller number of smaller bags.
That and because they can.

She actually said you stay i will go home i dont mind, but you cant do that can you its tight on her, shes come out in shingles and is quite ill

leave your stuff there, I'll go and collect it whilst enjoying the rest of your holiday and bring it back for you. I'll even drop it off (as long as you're around the Manchester area) no need to thank me its just the type of guy I am, totally selfless!

I think you are just going to have bite the bullet and pay the scandalous charges for additional bags. You should have a pretty solid case to claim the additional charges on your holiday insurance though? Worth giving them a call to see what the score is.

It's only money and your wife's health is much more important.
