Based on the ones I've listened to most. But I'm usually not that up to date with music, so it's probably better to ask me in about 2022.

Honourable mentions:
Paul Simon - So Beautiful or So What?
Kendrick Lamar - To Pimp a Butterfly
PJ Harvey - Let England Shake
London Grammar - Truth is a Beautiful Thing
Mac DeMarco - Salad Days
M83 - Hurry Up, We're Dreaming
Bjork - Biophilia
Grimes - Art Angels
Parov Stelar - Princess
The Menzingers - On the Impossible Past
Perfume Genius - Too Bright

This is Happening - LCD Soundsystem.

Lost in the Dream - War on Drugs.

Blonde - Frank Ocean.

Currents, MBDTF, good kid mAAd city, Lonerism, Random Access memories and Bon Iver as mentioned by others.

If you were making a list of the biggest albums of the decade then it would probably be stuff like

÷ Ed Sheeran, 18 months - Calvin Harris, 21 & 25 Adele, ANTI Rihanna, 1989 Taylor Swift.

That no one is likely to mention those in this thread as their personal favourites probably says a lot about our demographic and maybe the music industry itself.

I like these lists as it gives me some ideas to go listening to...was thinking about this recently...a mate usually posts something similar coming up to Xmas. It was a bit harder sticking to things from this decade...still listening to a lot of old stuff....and old stuff ive only discovered. This list may get bigger as i remember more, but these are favourites and regular listens from 2010 - 2019....and in no particular order

  • Manchester Orchestra - Black Mile To The Surface
  • Isaac Gracie - Isaac Gracie
  • Noel G - Chasing Yesterday
  • Tycho - Awake
  • Bonobo - Black Sands
  • Fontaines DC - Dogrel
  • Fangclub - Fangclub
  • Midlake - Antiphon
  • Death From Above 1979 - Physical World
  • Mojo Fury - Visiting Hours of a Travelling Circus
  • Queens of the Stone Age - Like Clockwork
  • Cashier no9 - To The Death of Fun
  • I Are Droid - The Winter Ward

If i had to pick one from that list alone its definitely Manchester Orchestra....
