Quite an interesting view imo.
I can't help but having a huge amount of respect for the man.

And I'm glad he quit.

No one can deny his second-to-none leadership capabilities. I suspect his book is a really good one for anybody taking up a leading position, not only in sports.

Maybe not. Just as nobody could deny he's a bullying , manipulating tw*t who most blues wouldn't p1ss on if he was onfire.

Just for equality.

Listen to him.

Because despite being an odious bullying ****, people listen to him. He's cracked it at the highest level and gained achievements most of us can only dream of. There are lessons to be learned from him and people take notice of everything he does. I hate the fucker, but I have to admire him.

But not everybody else does including me. I still think he's a c*nt of the highest order. One of the lessons Pellegrini could learn from him is going up to the ref after the match and saying "You'll never get out of here alive" or shouting at the 4th official on a regular basis.
Doesn't appear on my people to admire list.

That's fake.
Here's a real interview:

What was abundantly clear from that interview , to me at least, was that the chances of him going back to united in a managerial capacity are zero, not that I ever felt otherwise since retired.

It's not like he'll be sat at home watching Countdown. His time at united has brought him power and influence and he clearly intends to have a life beyond football using that power and influence to ensure he does it in some style.

All this "pulling the strings behind the scenes " stuff that gets trotted out fails to grasp that this is a man who has moved on from a particular phase of his life and wants to live life to the full in other ways in what time he's got left.

Say what you will about him, but he is an incredibly mentally strong character and I, for one, completely believe him when he says he's never going back.
