I think increasingly people are realising that its just the same old shit.
 
There were never any proper policies to achieve the grand aims, and now there is no money to do anything anyway, so the media focus will continually be on Johnson’s character, which just frustrates people further. He can’t change and they can’t change him.

He knows exactly why but there’s no chance he’s going to admit it.

He’s the emperor with no clothes. He knows it and most of the public know it but as long as his courtiers carry on with the pretence so will he.

With great difficulty.

Either a House VoNC where the rebel Tories effectively vote themselves out of a job along with the opposition as a result of the consequent GE or the Tory Party change their own 1922 committee rules. Can’t see either happening. They’ll probably get rid just before the next election to try and regain some of the lost support.
