My dad, God bless his 81yr old (sky blue and white) socks is one of, if not the, most stoic person I know. He despairs for the future of this country. I'm 51 so the light still flickers for me, but he thinks we're doomed. He's genuinely and utterly gutted, depressed and downright morbid about my son and daughter's future.
