I took from @Bill 's post that Bill was saying/asking:

  • "he's (Johnson) always been a loon, but a likeable one"
  • "is he fit for office?" (suggesting that Bill may not be so sure)
  • "the public and his colleagues obviously think so." (a simple statement of fact given his election to party leader and the recent GE result)
  • "he's too weak for me but if he sees Brexit through i dont give a shit." (so in Bill's mind Johnson is a weak character - but Bill couldn't care about that if he manages to see Brexit through)

I took those messages from Bill's post - well - because they are the words that Bill posted

How did you get to your version of what Bill said? It could almost seem you wanted to so you could slag of Brexiteers??

From a personal POV - I would like you to state clearly that you accept that I have indeed not stated in any way that I hold the view that:

When the last few pages have been about Johnson’s incompetence with which you have generally agreed, and a poster who hasn’t necessarily agreed that he’s useless says he doesn’t give a shit as long as he gets Brexit done, what am I supposed to think when you agree with it. The fact Johnson and Cummings are still employed in their current roles is very depressing. Not much hope about at the moment. The next decade is going to be pretty shit for a lot of people. I feel sorry for some people who will have spent most of their working lives dealing with austerity, a deadly pandemic, restrictions on their social lives and then the mother of all economic chaos.

We are getting close to the point where Johnson has to decide whether he is prepared to die fighting in a ditch with Cummings or lose him - an awful lot of his party who are shit scared that the new blue wall is a very temporary phenomenon are preparing to frag him - but who do they replace him with?

A point i made the other day. They are a one issue party now. Johnson's tories only have one purpose - to get brexit done. Without him they might not get it done so then they will have zero purpose. Those that saw this coming were hounded out leaving a husk of a party left? Who is the next best option, for years it was anybody is better than Corbyn so they could do no wrong. How quickly things change.

Take a look at the polls. Corbyn lost by an 80 seat majority to this imbecile. It’s took Starmer two PMQ’s to be polling above him.
