Why is there a quango "Airfield Advisory Team"? They had the Bonfire of the Quangos, like the Inland Waterways Advisory Committee, which were abolished; IWAC's work was "transferred to Defra" but you'd be hard pushed to find someone at Defra who knows anything about canal restoration. So why create a new quango for airfields?
