Alexei Navalny dead

Just elaborated on the news. They have given her 3 hrs to decide, otherwise they will bury him in the prison grounds
They are shitting themselves about the possibility of any funeral being a focal point for his supporters. Yet didn't the family say a few days ago that it would be a private funeral?

Certainly sounds like it.
Plus, a proper funeral (and the preparations behind it) allows a family to start the process of saying goodbye.
It's their right to do that.
I'm not sure relatives of dead prisoners have any rights regarding funerals. Or any rights at all actually.
The chances of his death being due to natural causes are minimal; the fucks given by Putin and his mates are also minimal.

Navalny's death is a tragedy. But honestly, it's completely foreseeable, and for that reason, even more tragic.

Couldn't Navalny have had more influence remaining alive, outside Russia, protesting Putin from abroad?

Most people in the world that think Putin is a **** already believe Putin to be a ****, the others don't think he's a **** and no amount of protesting is going to convince them other wise.
