Surely if the player destination, price and personal terms is not an issue the clubs could do whatever business is necessary behind closed doors. Knowing the deal is done but agreeing not to make anything publi****il both parties have conducted whatever recruitment was necessary. This wouldn't weaken the bargaining position of either club and enables Arsenal to placate their fans with a juicy new signing if Alexis was indeed to leave for City.
I suspect though the Arse will do a Liverpool and play it out in the press to try and not make it reflect badly on Arsene so the Tarquins can give him a good booing when we play them. If he comes I hope he cores a hat-trick against them and celebrates like fuck!

You're getting mixed up with the Bosman ruling, under which he can sign a pre-contract with another club six months from the end of his current deal.

The elite European clubs have an informal agreement not to sign players from one another using the Webster ruling, which involves the player buying out the last year of his contract.

His Bellerin video is hilarious...he goes says how much of a fool Bellerin is for wanting to go to Barca and how he'll get found out and laughed out of there because he's a pace merchant who can't cross...then says he's worth £60m.

He's thick as. Surely he watches his videos back and thinks yeah I've sort of contradicted myself there. Ah well I'll put it on the net so everyone can see how much of a clown I am.
