I think it’s a matter of principle now, on both sides, and for that reason would be surprised if it happened this window.
If I were Sanchez I'd be a tad fucked off if City didn't try again in January. It'll be a waste of a season really and a chance of a medal or two gone.

Granted, if I were Sanchez I'd have my millions in the bank from Arsenal to ease the pain I suppose.

Yeah, by all accounts Sanchez was fuming in the summer when the transfer didn’t happen, and you’d imagine City won’t leave him high and dry. It would take a huge step down from Arsenal to sell in January though, and I can’t see it happening.

Wenger is a bitter twat when it comes to us. Can't handle our success and the resources we have ( see comments re "fueled by Petrol"). We made a good offer for Sanchez in the summer and they decided to snub it. The whole thing left us fuming. Sanchez should let his contract run down, we should get him on a free to teach that twat a lesson. And the owners can mull over 60 mil they pissed down the drain for no good reason. They aint finishing top 4

From transfermarket, dunno if reliable.....sorry if already posted.

Despite PSG having approached him, Chilean star winger/forward Alexis Sanchez (29) seems more and more due to join Manchester City soon. Leaving Arsenal after three seasons and a half, on an about 32 million pounds fee, former Barcelona FC and Udinese player is likely to be signed on a deal lasting until June 2021, including an about 13.5 million euros annual salary.
