4K Pages here we come!
The Isco thread laughs at this.
4K Pages here we come!
A tad disrespectful towards the players of MCFC who put us 23 points above Sanchez's team. Hes not even their best player this season, nowhere near it. His signature guarantees nothing and if he does sign, he has to get in our first team and keep his place.
Sorry but there's no way Pep Guardiola sees one of the greatest players of his generation as back-up.According to this we have. And Utd have trumped it. https://www.theguardian.com/football/2018/jan/11/manchester-united-alexis-sanchez-arsenal
A move to Man Utd makes some sense. He could play a deep role for them. He can't really do that at City as we already have midfield creative options. Despite all the talk about Alexis being perfect for City, it's far from obvious that he is. He does not have the basic speed to play as a wide forward now. And he isn't getting past Aguero. I think Pep sees him as back-up. He probably knows that. However does he want to play at Utd, and for a coach who could be out of a job in a few months.
We're waiting until he's having a medical for United.Have we put in an offer?
I wouldn't say totally irrelevant as it shows that we have no problem going to that kind of money when if we'd played hardball we could probably have gotten him cheaper.Well, I suspect no one on here knows the actual figures and if it were down to a few mil, I would think a compromise would be made, but we wont be mugged off.
What we paid for Danilo is totally irrelavnt as far as I see it.
Only if it's what the player wants, Wenger doesn't have a say in where he goes !Not too fussed, but I can see the rags deal happening- Wenger gets cash plus a midfielder, considering a midfielder is leaving Arsenal in this window...
Marv. Sanchez is a winner - what will he achieve their seriously?According to this we have. And Utd have trumped it. https://www.theguardian.com/football/2018/jan/11/manchester-united-alexis-sanchez-arsenal

I would question the mentality of any player, who spends the whole summer turning down the advances of Bayern and PSG because he wants to play for City/Pep, to then end up signing for United/Liverpool.
United would buy Neymar and turn him into Theo Walcott.
I'm not sure. If we really aren't willing to pay £5m extra and that ends up meaning the deal doesn't go through I think he'd have a right to feel like we've fucked him over.
