If true it's certainly not worth upsetting the balance of our squad and the wage structure for a 29yr old who wants that kind of money. Hope he enjoys the hoof football and his runners up medals at best. Lol
Just read the last few pages, This is awful, I bet the rags sign him at 3.30pm and then announce it at 3.45. Do have to say though he isn't winning the title this year and unlikely next year and by that time he will be 31!

Hoddle (I know!) made the comment yesterday about if he came to city now he may feel like he hasn't earned the league title as it is pretty much there already. Interesting comment but I could understand it. So could have to be a champs league chance that draws him and whether he thinks there is a genuine chance.

Another true fact that many on here seem to he ignoring or forgetting, is, he is not a free agent yet and still has a contract at Arsenal.
