As far as I am concerned, you can never have enough quality players. Had we of had a good squad all season round, we might still be in the champions league and might be sat top of the table. Football is a squad game and when we are playing in various comps, we need the players in reserve to come in and not look out of place.

Sanchez would most probably get in our first team anyway, but even having him as an option to come off the bench to change games is a frightening prospect. No more Navas, Nolito, Delph, Fernando and the likes sat on our bench. Pissing money down the drain.

If he isn't assured first team football, he won't come to get splinters.
 
I was a no because we have sane but that's changed to a yes. He was brilliant today and is such a smart player. He would be an excellent acquisition.
 
There is ALWAYS a space in the team for world class talent that is also willing to put in a shift. ALWAYS.

That's my feeling, too. There were bits today when he seemed to be popping up everywhere and trying to pull them back into the game.

On the Van Persie comparison, however, I rather fear our management will balk at the idea of buying Sanchez and instead continue down the path of building a team for the next three-five years. I can understand that logic, but it took us a long time to win the league,and with so many of the old-guard set to exit stage left, the knowledge of what it takes to get over the line will leave with them. I just feel Sanchez would give us that edge and help us win the title next year.

You only have to see Guardiola's love for Alexis after every Arsenal game. Sanchez was the first player Pep went up to after the game, the signs are telling for me. The way he speaks about him in the media shows what a massive fan Pep is of Alexis.

I think if he came, he is that good of a player to keep out some of our top players we already have out of the team. He will easily play about 3/4 of the games for us if he was to join.

I think Pep mentioned that they would but someone at about that age fairly recently when asked if all his summer targets would be very young, I think sam Lee quoted it on twitter a while back I'll try to find it.


Anyway I don't think they'd be against it for that reason, if anything I think it would be because juggling Sanchez, Jesus Sané and Sterling would be hard.
 
The best player in the premier league right now and we can get him for a reasonable price so I really dont see any reason why not

The Tevez comparison is apt.

We should make sure that if he leaves Arsenal, he does not go to a rival of ours in England.

I'd want him to take the place of Navas or Nacho in the squad rather than Sergio. The permutations from Sane, Sterling, Sergio and Jesus (G) are very good; add Sanchez and make it 3 from those 5 and you potentially have front line strength to rival any squad in Europe.
 
Thought he was brilliant against us yesterday - he's so strong and balanced in tight areas of the pitch. Seems to have a good relationship with Pep by the looks of but sounds as if he likes the London lifestyle. Not sure where he'd fit in if we keep Aguero (which I hope we do).
 
On a defensive basis, he was more effective than the two Arsenal defensive midfielders.

Look at the battles between him and KDB in the second half. He pretty much one every single one. He had so much more desire to come out on top.

He'd be a great signing.
