You should really read your sources.

A further exemption applies: one player per club who would normally be cup-tied can be registered and eligible to play, so long as his previous club did not field him in the same competition. This means that players can represent two different clubs in the Europa League and Champions League, but only a maximum of one player per club

I did think that Sanchez would see out his contract and we would try and get him on a free. £10m would be absolute steal (even with his current form and being desperate to leave) but I have my doubts that Arsenal will accept that low amount and they will dig their heels in over the next month. If it does happen £40m would be the fee.

Fair enough.
We won't pay more than £10m for him though.

I can't see a deal of 10 mil, for the simple reason Arsenal would look a right bunch of fucking chumps, turning down good money for a player in Sept, when most pundits & half the fans were saying 'sell him you morons' watch him cruise through half a season, then sell him for next to fuck all, after paying him millions in wages, to the same people who offered 70% more just a few months earlier & didn't even need him.

Even Swales hasn't topped that.

Surely has to be at least 20-30 just for Arsenal to come out of it looking merely complete fucking buffoons rather than, the biggest bunch of clowns in the history of football.
 
For me

Pros
-class player
-if he doesnt strengethen 1st team, he'll give more squad depth.
Cons
-reports saying he has been a disruptive figure is unnerving. A slight worry that he may disrupt the flow we may have.
-expensive wage / transfer fee may close the door for a more younger prospect

Then we wont be able to sign him in January .

Wenger / Arsenal have already has shown themselves to be useless wankers , so selling Sanchez for virtually nothing ( ie no more than £10m ) in the current transfer market would be the final proof of their total incompetence .

If,and I believe it to be a big if, Arsenal sell in the next window it will be for more like £30million imo.

Yeah if I was Wenger I’d tell the board Sanchez is going nowhere and he can go for nowt in the summer.
