I wouldn't read into this too much. OK it's a risk of being injured but under the circumstances and wanting to field a strong side to hopefully get to Wembley, what else are Arsenal supposed to do? He's cup-tied and they have to put their own interests first in what will more than likely be his last game for them.

If we've actually agreed a feee with Arsenal and we're keeping it quiet so they can sign a player, as has been suggested here, theres no way he would play tomorrow. If he does it would suggest it's not as close as has been let on.
