I wanted him before it turned out to be all about greed. I'm genuinely not arsed now, relieved we've pulled out.
Don’t stress, we’ll continue bringing in big players but on our terms. We’re much better run than we were back then. The rags will only get a few years out of Sanchez. We’ll have players like Jesus, Sterling and sane developing for years.i can t help but feel we are repeating the same mistakes ala hazard and rvp and we all know they ended up winning the league with their teams...for people who says that he is demanding too much...reallyy???? it s just a matter of time until kdb for example will ask for this let s hope the club has big targets on their mind for the summer because tbh i don t think pep may be very happy with this outcome
That message being “There are clubs who will pay you more than City will, so keep your options open”?If the club has decided on a maximum transfer fee and wages package that they were willing to pay for the player, and the player and his agent decided to try and play games to try and get more money then I think it's a huge stride forward in terms of our structure that we can have the confidence to stick to our guns, it sends out a huge message to any future transfer targets, don't fuck about basically. With all this in mind, if we were in the market for Alexis Sanchez then it suggests we will be working hard on a deal to bring a similar player to the club this window if not, in the summer.
I don't think its the numbers, it's the double cross. don't think we'd have him now for free.
you don't fuck with Manchester City.

And that surely is the point. For all the talk of him disrespecting Pep, it is the opposite. Sánchez realizes that we don't need him as much as we did. Probably feels let down and is listening to a very good personal offer from Utd. He doesn't want to go there hence all the dragging of feet. He wants to come to us but we don't see him as fundamental to our future.if he has in any tiny way disrepected Pep he's gone. if he turned round now and said ok i'll the original deal Pep would fuck him right off, rightly so. we seriously don't need him that badly, rags might but we don't.
Why describe City as “they” rather than “we”?Everyone missed one line in the pull out piece.
City have left the door open to Sanchez.
In other words, told him if he really wants to come they will pay what they previously agreed.
They don't expect him to do though.
That is not the slant anyone is putting on this but it is to me the big one.
Odd that Sky have missed that. And also said United are the only option. No mention of Chelsea!
But that line says he wanted us, we wanted him and would pay what we agreed tomorrow.
So IF he goes elsewhere it is for the money.
Someone should be pointing that out in the media.
But not off us and that is the point in all this.Don't see how it sends that message at all at the end of the day the player got the money he wanted
£350k a week obliterates our wage structure.
Plus, £35m + Micky is arguably valued at more than the £65m we offered Arsenal in the summer.
