I was in Dubai last night and the Ireland game was being shown on one of the Arabic channels. Ali B was the studio guest. Not a clue what he was saying as it was all in Arabic. He sounded good though, as he kept mentioning Manchester City a lot.

They had to play their WC qualifying decider in Sudan. Algerian fans also smashed half of Marseille after they lost the first leg against Egypt.

My cab driver last night (on holiday in NYC) was Algerian. Good guy. Impressed by my knowledge of Ali B. Thinks England's best player is Gerrard and that Algeria, fired up by comments by Rooney that England have an easy group, can cause an upset.
