Frustrated tonight.

However, lets go and beat Wigan next monday, then irrespective of whether spuds beat us or not we will still be top of the league on a far superior goal difference. It could be that ourselves, spuds and scum sit level on points. February sees very winnable fixtures, everton being the toughest and also Vinny will be back. Then Yaya returns. None of this taking into account any strengthening we may do this month. We may also win or draw with spuds anyway.

Keep the faith Blues, we are still in the driving seat.

yeh but the steering wheels coming off and driving everbody nuts!!!

Aaah! So this is where I can take refuge then.

Disappointing tonight, but 2nd half much better. Not out of it by a long chalk and to use that horrible cliche when it's two legged - it's only half time! The lads looked shattered and the nice long break until Wigan should give some weary limbs time to recover.

Not happy we got beat, but not too down hearted.

Looking from the point of view that we can go through on AWAY goals but Liverpool can't. Say we go to Anfield and win 2-1, that makes it 2-2 aggregate. If after ET it is still 2-2, we go through happy days.

Feel much better now, oh how reassuring you are.

I would love for that to happen. I do think though, in this stage of the development of the squad and the club as a whole, that the league must be the priority.
