I can't see 100 points ever being beaten if it does then that's one he'll of a team
I absolutely agree on the way that the points total now required to win the title has dramatically changed over the last few years but number of games lost is less of a factor in determining who's finishing second than number of games with dropped points. In 2018-19, the dippers only lost one game (against us) but we were champions despite losing four times as they had so many draws.I truly believe the standards Manchester city are setting will never get any better in a 38 game season
100 to mid 90 points is now the level you need to compete with us, it's now coming down to losing 1 to 2 games or else you're finishing 2nd it's that simple,
the 100 points city got is what the rest of the top teams have to aim for at the start of the season
Or his 3 last minute winners 2 absolute flukes.Don't forget Sterling's miss against Burnley in the draw.
Huddersfield was a massive fluke but Bournemouth was only a slight deflection if memory serves.Or his 3 last minute winners 2 absolute flukes.
And the mad fact is that 100 points should have been 105 points - rags dicked us second half of that game in April after we were 2-0 up and also we couldn't get a winner at home to Huddersfield penultimate game of the season
Dreams can come trueGabrielle's goal to make it 100 in the 90th minute on the 38th game was worth waiting to attain it that way.
So boring, boring Arsenal again. They conceded 26 that season, the same as City and dippers this season, but both scored many more than the invincible.A few of those seasons don't do the teams justice
Two examples being us in 20/21 where in the last half dozen games we really took our foot off the gas as we were winning the league at a canter
The Arsenal invincibles, again were well ahead and in their last matches were playing not to lose. They drew 6 of their last nine
Having PPG next to united doesn’t make sense. Explaining that it was a 42 game season instead of 38 would make more sense
