The Government are more than happy for old folks to die of hypothermia throughout the winter.
In their eyes they're just a drain on the NHS. Doesn't matter how much tax and NI they've paid in.
Plus they stink of piss and mint imperials too, and push in front of you in bus queues.

Why was HECA passed then? The Government has done a more than a significant anmout to achieve affordable warmth for all vulnerable households, giving away free gas and electric would not be very good for climate change so it has to be done through insulation.
