League Position 1,2,3,4. = Champions League

League position 5,6. = Europa League

Also: League Cup winners = Europa League (if team winning already in Europe place goes to team finishing 7th in League)
Also: FA Cup winners = Europa League (if team winning already in Europe place goes to Runner-Up)
Also: Fair Play League Winners = Team with least naughty boy points from Uefa Nation with least naughty boy points.

By my reckoning that makes a possible 11 ways of qualifying for European competitions.

FA cup runners up don't get place anymore - it goes to a league place - ie 5th qualifies plus 6th and 7th if league and FA cup winners already qualified

Only 5th is, 6th is getting the League Cup hand me down, and 7th the FA Cup. If you finish 6th you don't get owt unless the one of the cup winners are already in europe.

Only 1 team per nation in fair play, last year it if we missed out on the auto spot which we got, us and teams fro 7 other countries (who had above a certain fair play level rating) were going into the hat for two places drawn at CoMS before the final.

We are soooo far down the fair play table this year. Frankly, unless Fulham declare war on Spurs and more than six players die in the resulting hostilities I think we can forget about it.

What I was kind of referring to was that it can't be that fuckin hard to qualify for Europe can it? Although only 6 places are initially up for grabs, there are 10 ways of actually getting a place!!!!! With our mega anticipated investment in the Summer we should deffo be expecting European football every season from now on.
