This is pretty good for a player aged 22/23 at the time.

Premier League
Goal every 171 mins / 0.53 per game
Goal/Assist every 162 mins / 0.56 per game

Europa League:
Goal every 181 mins / 0.50 goals per game
Goal/Assist every 120 mins / 0.75 per game


With that said, Morata this season (without pens) has dipped to 0.32 goals and 0.58 goals/assists per game in Serie A and 0.34 goals and 0.68 goals/assists in the CL (more assists this year)

It's a judgement call on which season you think better reflects his actual ability and whether he's suited to City/Pep/PL.

I liked what I saw last season but I haven't seen much of him this year.
 
Any time I've watched Morata in Europe he's been brilliant but apparently in Serie A he's been below par, I know he doesn't start regularly in Italy though. I keep hearing Madrid can buy him back, wouldn't be surprised especially if he performs in the euros.

He's not playing alongside Tevez this season and even though Dybala has potential it's questionable whether he'll ever match Tevez, he's definitely not at that level now. This season is probably a better reflection of his ability for me, he'd play alongside Tevez level players here for sure but he'd also be up against much tougher opponents negating that.
 
Icardi for me would be better option. Only 24 and highest shot conversion rate in Europe if you believe the net. Also keeps that Argentina theme going. Sure Mancini would let us have him at a discounted price. :-)

Or for a cheap option Hernandez from Hull City looks good, fairly tall, performed well in both championship and seria A. Plus really hates Rags, as he proved by punching Phil Jones! Now what's not to like about him.

Icardi is a twat. If we were to go after a young Argentine striker I'd prefer Angel Correa. He can play on the right as well, whereas Icardi is primarily just a center forward

I don't think Dybala is far off Tevez at all - Dybala's first season at Juve is just as good as Tevez's was (at least in terms of productivity), and there's little doubt that in terms of pure talent and technique, Dybala is superior.

I think Morata's problems this season were his own doing. He said that he had some personal issues at the beginning of the season, and that was clearly reflected in his play. He's been good over the past few months, albeit with some stupid, immature moments that he needs to improve on (getting booked and suspended for dissent, some questionable decision making at times etc.). He has everything to be a world-class striker though.
