everything has just seemed to slot into place all of a sudden,i dont know why but looking at our squad tonight we look so strong in every area even allowing for injuries ! it still feels like a dream and i am going to wake up any minute.we are going to tear teams apart at home.theres going to be a few 4 and 5 nils, and will be very hard to beat away from home.

Isn't it fantastic, Salford?

I was just thinking back to the team that we had under Pearce, with the likes of Corradi and Dabo, Reina and Beasley.

It hardly seems like the same football club!

I often think back to that phone call I got from my mate on September 1st 2008.

The last three years have been even better than I could have imagined.

I think some of our fans sometimes don't appreciate just how blessed we are. Acting like spoiled children, with a sense of entitlement that is somewhat at odds with our success levels over the previous 30 years.

Come on blues - our wildest dreams have been answered and we're living through a scenario that none of us could have imagined four years ago. Try and enjoy it for fuck's sake.

This has been, and is going to be, one hell of a ride.

Manchester City. What a fucking story.

It's brilliant and we are part of it, it's the young ones who are most lucky because for me growing up it was always the dirty rags winning, I think now it's our time boys.

your right mate, and all the shit we have had to put up with since 76 makes it mean a 1000 times more than the red shite will ever understand

Feels like a dream doesn’t it? The nightmare we lived for so many years as Utd swept all before them actually ended when we beat them at Wembley, but this is now something very different. I remember driving past Old Trafford after leaving Maine Road on the day we were relegated and they had won the title, can’t remember the year (maybe 1996?) and thinking to myself that we would never rise to be the force we once were again in my lifetime.. It was only 12 years ago we were fighting to get out of the third tier of English football. Now we stand close to the brink of greatness and it is almost impossible to believe. Sheikh Mansoor, I thank you.

It will feel real when we lift the premiership!

I always asked myself this. I wonder If in my lifetime I will see My beloved team win the premier league or even a trophy. One down one to go.....

I wouldn't call it a nightmare. I've always loved and enjoyed supporting City. The only period I haven't enjoyed was that last half of that last season with Pearce and Wardle; other than that I enjoyed the third division and really enjoyed a couple of our seasons in the second division and from Mel Machin to Sven, even the start with Pearce, were all great in the top division. Although never successful (until last season), my City supporting life has never been a nightmare!

I'm no more proud to be a City fan now that at any point in the 23 (of my 29) years I've been watching them.

not saying im not proud, far from it city have always been the love of my life all 49 years of it,what i am saying is i have never felt that we are on the brink of something so very special after all the years of fuck all in the trophy cabinet while them false fuckers have been winning something nearly every season !
