A conman exposed by the M.E.N. for ripping off football fans desperate for tickets is facing jail for the FIFTH time.

Amrik Gill pleaded guilty to 18 counts of fraud by false representation and asked for a staggering further 44 offences to be considered.

He conned punters desperate for tickets to matches, concerts and music festivals out of an estimated £6,000.

The 25-year-old was first jailed in July 2009 for two weeks after offering tickets he did not have to fans over the web and taking payment.

In October 2010, Gill was sent to prison for 12 months following our investigation which found he had been targeting United fans.

Last year, he was locked up for 12 weeks when he conned £200 from a supporter looking for tickets for the FA Cup Final between City and Stoke.

And in March of this year he was sent down for six months for conning two fans searching for tickets for the Carling Cup Final.

His latest offences stretch back from last July to August this year. Gill’s victims include those looking for tickets on sites such as Gumtree and Facebook and online forums.

Events included a Manchester United v Liverpool match, V Festival and Six Nations rugby. Over three days in August, he conned Blues supporters on a Manchester City fans forum out of £335.

Gill, from Chorlton, admitted the latest offences when he appeared before Manchester magistrates. The offences included ripping off fans looking for tickets to festivals and concerts as well as football matches.

He asked to be released on bail but his request was denied and he was taken into custody.

Gill’s case was passed on to Manchester Crown Court where he will be sentenced next month.

A police spokesman said: "Amrik Gill was charged with 18 counts of fraud by false representation.

"It followed an investigation by Greater Manchester Police’s economic crime team into reports from victims around the UK.

"Payment was made by the victims for the tickets which were never sent."

Tosser, he posted on here under a few names.

To think he played Fifa with the bluemoon fifa lads too. He would ask strange questions like setting up a gambling account together and shit like that.

Yes i played fifa with him too. Then i started getting messages from him, to lend him money and if i wanted anything, just to ask.
Act your age, you juvenile shitbag

By the way, Gill is pure scum, the big problem is he gets a ludicrous sentence each time, meaning he is out in weeks. No deterrent at all.
As a persistent fraudster, he should get 10 years. The amounts of money he steals shouldn't matter. There is an element of sophistication and forward planning to these frauds. It is not some baghead shoplifter caught with a joint of beef down the front of his trackie bottoms

if its to good to be true then 99% of the time it a con

you should never buy tickets of ebay or twitter or facebook its asking for trouble
bluemoon ticket page on this site is ok for cash for tickets outside the ground at face value

but that twat should be locked up with Domenyk Noonan

Not best looking nor intelligent bloke is he.
I'm convinced he's mentally ill, surely nobody could be quite so stupid as to so obviously repeat the same offences in the exact same places over and over again with scarcely any attempt to cover his tracks?
