the king hotel.....the stairs are literally like ladders....try walk down them when you've had whatever you intend going to do ;)

I stayed in a dirt cheap 2 star hotel called the Di Ann 10 mins from the centre and it was well, 2 star there was a bed and bathroom, a safe and a telly fine for a few days. We went for a long weekend ferry from hull and accomodation cost £105 good times. As aforementioned though the bloody stairs are vertical in half the places.

Try the Winston, walking distance from central Station. Only problem is it is on the edge of the red light district and I know you won't want to be near there!!!!
But it is clean, cheap and cheerful with a music bar attached. me and mates have stayed there a few times.

Top hotel this. Has big screens for watching football, a 24hr bar and its right in the middle of the red light district.

ive been loads of times and the best place ive ever stayed was called the greenhouse effect ,near the central station and dam square also got a coffee shop down stairs plus some others near by.rooms are simple but good enough when you probalby wont remember even putting your head down
