    Apparently he's going to watch England play cricket in the West Indies!

    I can imagine the Wednesday fans are already angry that he used to be at Sheffield United, don't think this will go down too well

    He’s a good hire for where they are right now. Of course he probably will not last more than 4 seasons, at most.

    To be fair, I understand he has a good record for winning promotions.

    Maybe managers of his ilk - like Allardyce, Pulis and Clueless - should only get short term contracts with pay highly leveraged on gaining promotion (or avoiding relegation). Then bring in someone new to kick on.

    If they don’t like it, fcuk em. They’re not gold dust.

    He is the championship version of Alladyce. You guarantee a level of competence and results but pretty awful / uninspiring football. Shame as I like Wednesday.
