And the news is coming in...

The bit that always stuns me is that Sergio is the one who plays the pass in to Mario, but he travels faster than the ball to be able to receive the instant pass back from Mario. How did he know where to run to and even though you know he does you can't believe that he is going to get there in time.

The greatest, most memorable, exciting moment in football history that football fans experienced ever, perfectly encapsulated by Merson on Sky who has no affiliation or affection with us and Man City. It was that fantastic, they could not disguise their elation and forgot themselves.

Maybe the OP brought the subject because of the recent attack by the BBC on one of our supporters, and I can fully understand us keep bringing that game up, but part of me wants both the club and us, the supporters fully focused on the task we have currently got. I am not having a dig at anybody in this thread.

The fans and the club are fully focused on the present and the future, I don't think it's got any relevance to the ****s at the bbc it's just we like watching that footage as it brings back all the feelings, emotions and elation of being in the ground that day, I was there with my son and the rollercoaster of events was was/is unsurpassable, I like probably many other blues watch it back every so often and it still sends shivers down our spines, it's the ultimate moment in football history

Of course and it will never be topped. Again it's personal choice but I prefer more routine (boring as it sounds) league wins.

I don't know why it is, but every time I watch it, I get a bit of grit or something in my eye!
I can watch the win at Newcastle in 1968 (and I was there as well) without this happening. Strange, innit?

Dunno about you but when we won it in '68 (as a deluded 13 year old!) I thought it would be the first of many, it's the 44 frustrating years in between that make 2012 so emotional.
